La traffic and the delusion of doing 62mph.

After watching this video I saw another point which you did not mention. I get the patients thing you're trying to get across here. but you also gave us all another reason aside from CARB to stay the hell out of California. They drive like idiots!

i loaded/unloaded there all the time...ran LA for the better part of 22 years....it is what ya make it...be safe

 

Yea nothing against y'all out there but after watching that, I wouldn't get caught dead out there. And no offense but when I see a vehicle from Cali out in my neck of the woods they are always 2 feet from the car in front of themes bumper I don't understand it. They give me funny looks when I pass them too...I've yet to figure that out.


Still better than Texas though. I had a challenger from Texas pass me Friday night. Guy couldn't maintain speed at all i looked at him as he passed like wtf is your problem (I was in a car BTW not my truck), we got up to a stoplight on the outskirts of Lincoln on 77. I was turning to head into town and I figured out why he couldn't maintain speed. There were 2 people in that car...a young lady rolled down the window and...well I'll let the rest of you guess.

 

So when the guy went by you in the faster lane he was a 'supper chuck' but when his lane slowed and you went by him you were showing 'real experience'.

Keep up the good work I guess.

In traffic like that keep a good distance, read what's happening ahead, relax and cruise through.

Not a big fan of sudden decisions to take the exit lane to gain a second or two but whatever works for you. Keep distance and perspective. I don't see the big deal of getting a few seconds ahead of someone who's lane slowed. He probably went by you again 30 seconds later.

Not familiar with the area, 3rd lane from the left is a violation?
