I am 24. I have not worked in 4 years. Most of that time I've either been in school, or to be honest, doing nothing.
My driving and criminal records are clean.
Will anybody hire me? Or am I better off just saving the last of my inheretence on something other than trucking school?
Lack of work history

Being in school counts as work history!

That being said, you can have someone type up a letter stating your background. This should be someone like a family lawyer or clergy.
Have the letter notarized.
With trucking companies, and some other employers, they want to know your "whereabouts" for at least 10 years.
Actually, in trucking, 10 years is what is required. So avoid any hassles, and get the letter. -
Actually... DHS (Dept. Homeland Security) wants to know your "whereabouts" for the past 10 years.
Welcome to the New World Order.

I was out of work for 4 years and I got plenty of offers still. A couple of companies that seem really good didn't want me with that big of a gap but I can see where they are coming from.
