They canceled my policy that I just got in February. In March I contacted them and said I need to add physical too and they replied a day later saying they would need $300+ right away. I said I don't have it right now but I would by next week. Well 5 days later they sent me a notice that they were canceling my policy. Also sent notice to the FMCSA.

I paid them $1000+ in February to get a policy.
Do not get insurance with this company!

Well I certainly wasn't there when the policy got wrote up, but did that $1,000 INCLUDE the physical coverage as well? If not, then maybe you paid the correct amount (at the time, for the coverage you asked for) and this is why they wanted that extra money? As it is an additional coverage above the original policy?

I as of right now, see nothing wrong with what happened. I have insurance on my car, and home, and as such, when I get ANY policy I ask questions if any "extras' are required by the bank". If they answer yes, then we start all over again and I then write up a new check. It is so common for ANY insurance company to cancel at any time. I think it does say so in the disclaimer (fine print) for lack of payments?

So I do not believe you can blame them.

Do you cancel a policy 5 days later because you didn't get the money that day you asked for additional coverage? Just cancel the whole policy because you added coverage?
