    Look at what they did to the split sleeper berth provision a few years ago. What worked ok for 75 years and was simple got changed to where it's so confusing now a solo driver using it does so at his own risk because a half dozen dot cops will each have their own different interpretations. It may have been changed again for teams but at one time a 5hr drive 5hr sleep wasnt legally possible, or a 4/4 or whatever. One shoe size does not fit all. Add the inflexable 14hr rule to the mix and what you end up with is something that can make a "by the book" driver drive when fatigued. You can call that many things - onerous, burdensome, unsafe - but you cant call it simple. If they want to improve saftey and efficiency why not put the onus on shippers/recievers to where waiting time drivers have comes with a cost $$$

    As to the original topic they dont have to reason why. It may turn into a blessing in disguise for you anyways..

    I got a letter from them yesterday it reads:


    WTF does that mean? I only asked them why I wasn't qualified..
