Landstar Contract Carrier Informaition Wanted!!

    Now its all together. From what I heard the merging process took a long time. Not sure why it was necessary to take years to get them all on the same page.

    You need to have your own wagon.They used to take 28% for the use of there trailer.Driving west coast lanes and Oregon's Heavy Weight Tax took a lot of money out of my pocket and they didn't pay dead head.I was better off going West and East with them.

    L/S charges 8% for the use of their trls. Where do you people get your info?

    I work for Landstar in 2003 and 2004 and that was the amount they took for the use of their trailers.

    No its not. The TOTAL amount deducted IF you use their trailer is 28%. Or 20% if you have your own trailer.

    8% difference for your trailer or theirs has been their standard for a very long time.

    Incorrect! The percentage is as follows: 65% for your truck, 8% for your trl. 65 +8 = 73%, 100% - 73% =27% to L/S Unless you have a older lease percentage.

    Has freight picked up at Landstar??? Are you all getting at least 2300mi per week and averaging $1.50 per mile???
