I have a friend who lives in Vegas. His girl friend drives a limo and does very well. There are several limo companies around your area. You can make a good living with the tips. I think she is making $14/hour plus tips.

had an interview today to deliver building materials local around vegas for $15 an hour, see what happens. Every job that pops up around town has 100 apps dropped on it so its still slim pickens in the great depression of LV. I was thinking of a transplant to chicago or maybe somewhere in the rust belt. seems like theres plenty of jobs up that way. Mainly I wouldnt mind getting back to LS tho, Maybe get enough time in somewhere to build reserves back up and get a truck for cash the next time around.

Finished orientation and got Qualcomm installed. Now just waiting for trailer utliization to find me an empty dry van. I have to say orientation was a good experience and very informative.

Trailer utilization is sending me to Oakland to pickup a roller van, says that is all he has. Is that trailer type "VANR?". I do not see anything on the load board that uses that type of equipment. Can I load a roller van just like a regular dry van?

Good question. I never knew LS had any company roller vans. If the rollers retract, into the floor, I guess you could. Call trailer utilization, tomorrow, and ask for Mahal. She is the head of that dept and could tell you more.

Also how long does it take to get that pre-trip advance? He said he sent it but my card shows zero. Also under trip advances it says there are no pending trips.
