well I will one up you. In TX you go for th fingerpinting, then wait for the letter from homeland security or whoever, THEN you have to wait or another letter from TX DOT telling you to come back into the testing station to finish everything and THEN you wait for your license to come in the mail, TX doesn't give you your license at the station

Less than two weeks for me in Texas. I reset my fingerprint scan for the same day as my DOT test. I must have snuck in under the gun. Got my CDL w/ the endorsement in less than two weeks. (Austin, TX).
I also sent in my Pre-qual and App before the Hazmat.

Just an FYI, you can download some Hazmat questions from the Internet that are almost word for word like the test. Just do a Hazmat question search.

LS seemed to make it real easy for me to get in. Just took a while.

What worked out best for me was to pay for the physical myself. That way I always had the copy (Long form and Short form). Plus you have access to the info in case you need to get it faxed while OTR.

Got my fingerprinting today (2 hours of driving for 45 seconds of fingerprinting) I got my long form physical from my past co today to so I guess my app will get sent in tomarrow.
I just have to call and see if I can email them in instead of fax them. I havn't owed a landline in years

Get E-Fax. You'll use it at LS.

    Worth the cost!

I can't remember if that is the one I had a while back but I hated it, very hard to use.
Is that one easy to use?

I use RapidFax. $10 a month and easy to use. Faxes come in email. Print them out from there. To send you scan to email and send them to faxnumber@rapidfax.###

In my opinion its easy to use.

You'll need one of them. It's a must have tool.

You may not have to like them, but it'll save you time and money.
