If LS would allow CHRW to post directly to LS Online, or allow us to book our own loads off Internet Truckstop and keep the agent's cut, 20%+ of our agents would be out of a job.
I know I slip up a little occasionally on proper punctuation and grammar, especially typing on a mobile device, but that agent's post was just out there.

This one is not from the "Emigrant" with bad English(even if I graduated from University with honors back in my time from my country) but from an pure American that suffer from LS crap loads.
I heard so many times.........DO NOT GO THERE or THERE because no good paid load or even worst,NOTHING.......well,while is true for LS,still regional and local work every single day like I do at this moment, and I never pull a load paid to my truck under $2.50 per mile.To mention,I don't have any cost including and paid by carrier except for bobtail liability, registration and IFTA.I do not own my own trailer and I do not pay for damage tires etc exept if I make or cause an accident.
I wish I can get more mile per week, but I can enjoy what I make right now vs what I did in one year at LS crap company...... a MINUS $32.000 to my credit cards.
Excuse my emigrant english, but in the road,I am a master TRUCK DRIVER with no tickets of any kind and free from accidents, and I pull in my life time over 3 million mile in 2 continents from that 3 millions,2 millions just here in US allone, that include local, regional, cross country and just about any kind of trl, chasiss or double, ref etc.
The main point at LS is......only few will make money, the rest will survive or quit, and that is the relation with agent is mention here so often or at any LS presentation.
Its like LS its selling a product that does not exist,hahahahhahahahaha........I can't stop it........hahahhahahahah.:biggrin_2559:

..This is a true statement.I do not agree with ''landstar'' still marketing the ''old landstar''.They are misleading many many drivers of the YESTER YEARS and the WAY IT WAS..That is a far cry of the ''new landstar''.

Landstar of the yester years was the cream of the crop. These days we are not close to what we once were.

I will make a very simple O/O calculator, that means it will or for just about anybody except for few in trucking industries.
This is how to project your income:
    1/3 goes for fuel
1/3 goes for truck and expensives
    1/3 goes for you..........if you lucky..............given plus,minus 3%
So,if you gross $150.000 last year, probrabliy you made under $60.000 or even under $50.000 and after you paid your own benefits............do your own math.
Corect me if I am wrong, even if your equipment is paid out.

That is the old formula and it holds so true.I remember the ''old timers'' drilled that in my head...

Once again this year i only made 1/3 of my gross....

HAHAHA.......The old formula its THE ONLY FORMULA and every experinced O/O should know it,before jump that magic open board or LS board.
An borker or agent will know how much you will make, before they will post is on that crapy board. They don't want you to make money, because if you make money, you will no longer be their slave. It worked for thousend of years, and its working now,the old formula its the only formula.
Maybe LS has 2 prices, one for the open board and one for their own board,so they can get a better cut.

We didnt wait around for a trailer, took a tow away in Loisville paying $525 for 360 miles...not very good, but we Got to go to MATS, lol... Just booked a load out Of Batesville, In paying us $1.68 per mile w/fsc, since we dont pu til tues, booked a local for tom evening here in Louisville coming to $2.30 to us per mile. That broker might have another one earlier for us we can do too. All this is while we are waiting for a trailer! We dont want to sit around waiting! So far, liking making our own schedule. Will be easier when we have a trailer!

Has anyone here ever picked up at the Denver convention center? I was told to check-in at the marshalling yard first by the stadium?
