Gonna give them a try, sifting thru all the different insurance companies is turning out to be about as agravating as locating the truck I wanted.

Might be best to get the truck first, then find out what the finance company will require you to have for insurance. Some require gap coverage which can be spendy. I have a clean 20+ year DMV and accident record which really gave me a huge advantage when shopping around.

LS is picky on the insurance stuff. I had Progressive and they would not take it. But reading through Gallagher Insurance and Progressive it's appears to be a wording thing, coverages look the same to me.

Lender want insurance certificate before he will release the funds for the truck. Its no problem just want to take care of the insurance thing onece and be done with it. The lender is ok with Ooida by Landstar is not. Might as well get coverage they both will be happy with.

You better check with LS about getting unladen liability elsewhere. They are pretty tight on that and I have found that neither OOIDA nor True North would write it as it did not meet LS specifications. I was with OOIDA for physical damage/breakdown then went to True North as it was little cheaper but have returned to OOIDA as True North messed me over on some stuff that cold have cost me big time and just kinda blew it off. Thus I rated them poor in customer service and returned to OOIDA and the difference is only a couple of bucks a month.

Landstar doesn't have anything to do with your physical damage. I have OOIDA for physical damage and never had a problem. Your not going to find Unladen liability anywhere but Galagher that LS will accept. They have the policy written in a way that no one else will write it.

I think he misunderstood my point. He needs to verify with his lender who they will allow to cover his P/D.

Is there a maximize number of FB#'s you can have added to your truck at a given time? Just curious about freight I am lining out for October and the agent said she can add them to my truck whenever I am ready.
