I used to do a lot of those cabinet loads for QC that had driver assist in California. I used to get a good work out with those stops in Fresno. I still do the ones up to the Tacoma area since I have been finding some good freight back down to Texas.

If you want a work out pull a flat or step and book all of the tarp loads. You'll get your workout.

Nah that's to much. Plus I see those guys on the side of the road either tightening straps/chains or fixing their tarps. I'll just stick to dry van and get my 10 minutes of exercise per week. And yes I had to remove my passenger seat to get a double wide drivers seat installed, lol!

What area do I need to try and pick up out of, to get those driver assist loads to Cali & Washington state? And, is the rate earned for helping unload a flat rate or are taxes deducted from that as well?

Thanks Hawk. Could you tell me more about these types of loads and how well I could do with them out of the NC, SC, GA area?

If short is 200-250, not well. Best just run GA up to the midwest or VA & back. And start off using Landstar trailers. See if you do plenty of drop & hooks. If not then look at getting you a trailer but remember once you do that you can't get drop & hook loads.

There's tires coming out of deep SE GA that require driver unload or pay a lumper. SC got a few runs out to the midwest with cabinets. NC I don't see much of driver assist loads.

Is that the Cooper Tire in Savannah? Also, Can you tell me if you have done any loads from Texarkana or Dallas Cooper Tire plants that pay good? I see you said runs from SC to the midwest... Is the pay per mile pretty good as well? And last, whats a round-about number I cam expect, as compensation for driver unload fees? Sorry about so many questions.
