Mercer gives you a coordinator to push loads at you. Landstar you do everything yourself.

Question, how long does it take Landstar to approve an LCAPP authorization? Also how much do they take out of your weekly settlement after you made the purchase?

You need to give them at least a day for the authorization. I got 4 new SS tires a few months back and they took out around $350 per week till the $4000 was paid back.

Yup, you get a decent tire discount so they will... also if you have a major breakdown they'll loan out money but only if they see you have decent revenue in the past few months to pay them back. They also charge an interest few as well

That's still awesome. If they know you'll work for it, they'll help you out. That's a good company right there.

If you call them early in the morning you can usually be approved in a few hours. You can also apply online on the LCAAP website to get tires and then call them in a day or so. But if you are in a hurry call them. I have financed numerous repairs over the years. I believe they will charge you 7% interest. You can also buy a trailer through them. They order trailers spec'd out pretty nice from Fontaine every year so you can get a pretty good deal on a flat, step, or double drop. I bought a Doonan trailer and financed it through Landstar so you can buy whayever trailer you want and get a decent rate from LCAAP.

They'll only finance brand new trailers though. Typically you have to be at LS for a year before they'll finance tires or trailers. I'm not sure on the repairs as I've never done that
