Do you need to know how to set them up or just how they work?

Well you get you load alerts 2 ways by phone or email or both, I prefer the email only option. The phone constantly ringing is a distraction and its easy to just check your email on the phone real quick.
Anyway once your loaded and your destination is in the computer it will send you alerts to that area or you do a status up date of ie the house or terminal ect that you've deadhead to. Once you set your parameters up on the follow me board.
You need to set your follow me settings to your needs IE; VAN 3.00 per mile min, 300 mile radius, 1500.00 min
You can also turn off your load alerts when you don't need them or home/vacation
    Hope that helps

I park my truck at the house but the trailer would be too difficult to get in and out. I don't currently own a trailer. I sold my stepdeck last year but am looking to buy a new one

I was leased to Landstar for a stint, I can tell you that they most probally do not hire someone that was convicted of a Felony.

I know this is kind of a stretch what I'm asking but I'll throw it out there anyway but does anybody know if Landstar has drop lots in select cities? I'm in a bad jam right now as I was parking at an agency yard just north of Richmond but they packed up unannounced and the lease owner is pissed and doesn't want nothing with an bluestar sitting on that property. Was dropping my trailer at the T/A on 95 at the 89 in VA then T/A dropped this Bull No Drop Trailer policy & started towing trailers

There is another agency in the richmond area..I know the guys name is Kfox, and lord help me I can't think of his agency code…….I believe he had a lot, I know he sold some trailers. If all else fails just peel the blue star off and leave all other pertinent info on your truck and trailer.. :)
