No No, for a while he didn't do any loads with tarps. And it seems like he was doing real well, you do know you have that option to stay away from Tarped loads right?

"I cant really tell you I haul heavy haul, so better than 75% of my stuff never sees the board. As far as EOBR go im still on paper as well as my other units, but I watch my hours both daily and weekly and rarely get close, there are some days but off the average don see it would be to much of a difference.
The load boards a good thing when you get in those areas or for us the winter time when things are slow[/QUOTE]

That's cool. I would like to get a sd as well but the wait is long, so I'll go with flat.
Not worried about elog so much. I have heard some guys there love and some hate it..
winter is slow but I think it will a bit better this year than last year, for all of us, being optimistic here.

If you want a stepdeck you can get one from day one........ Its more than likely not gonna be one of the new aluminum one.

You can get a red sled anytime...:)

Lol if I took one of those I'd be screwed for weight I could put on the deck! A 01 770 volvo isn't light with a 14 liter DD and an 18 speed! I'd probably be able to scale out like 40 if I had half tanks! The darn thing has 150 gallon tanks too! I want to pull around one of those nice new flats for sure! Anything but one of those lead sleds please! Lol

Those trailers only weigh in at about 13k? That's not bad! I use to be 34500 with a 53 ft step in my TMC Pete.

Lead sleds are about 15,000 pounds. It never prevented me from pulling profitable loads.
