I am thinking of buying a truck and leasing with Landstar. Does Landstar provide plates and permits, or do I have to do all that myself first?

Landstar can get you plated and insured upon hiring you. They'll mail you the plate, permit book, and insurance info right before orientation. The cost depends on the tractor. I paid $125 a week.

True, and the insurance payments are recurring of course. They're deducted weekly.

Weekly deductions for CPP and bobtail, Prepass, etc is $53

The first week of the month will also have physical damage and that cost depends on how much you decide to insure your equipment for.

    Loke Thanks this.
