If the paint is clear coated, acetone will take the glue off fast, and it's cheap.

 

Get a product called goo gone. Spray it liberally on the decal and use as plastic scraper to take them off. Then the goo gone can be used to clean off the sticky residue left behind.

 

I found rubbing alcohol worked for me.

You could also get the job done quickly by sand blasting, but remember to post pics if you do.

 

I can't handle the hangover from rubbing alcohol......
