The price of an apportioned plate varies quite a bit. Registered weight, actual mileage from last year as well as what states those miles were in contribute to plate cost. For example, my friend only runs 50-60k miles a year, hence his cheap plate. I only do 70-90k miles on a 80k pound plate, so I'll save money as well as have more control. It is far easier to just run LS plate, however, and the convenience was worth a couple hundred bucks, but the control is worth more to me currently. The more savvy o/o will understand why I'm going back under my own IRP and IFTA.

I took the Hazmat test and passed it, now I just need the drug screen and inspection. I just have a few minor things that I need to fix on my tractor this week.
I hope I don't have to wait very long to be scheduled for orientation. -

Do they have a big parking lot? I'm trying to decide where I will park my truck while I'm home. I'm currently with a company that has a yard in Jacksonville and I'm trying it avoid spending $100+ a month for truck parking.Last edited: Mar 19, 2017
