I don't know of any way to block agency codes from a search list. You can search for load offered by a particular agency, but you can't block agencies they way you can block certain states and provinces. I wish we could. I have a list.

I’m willing to bet if landstar makes this option available conman agencies will slowly die off.

I have to believe that agencies are more important than drivers to them though. After all, agencies bring in the business. Drivers can be had.

That’s what they believe, but a lot of agencies are double brokering, so weeding those out is the key.

Don't know what was in the contract but whenever I didn't have a set appt I would call the cust & make sure/
Or get the info you found out after loading before loading.
I had a load last week 16miles apart from pu to del & told no appt needed. Got to receiver & they said I needed an appt. Turns out that was BS because they just didn't want to make room for the load .One of my customers will change appt times with as litte as 4hrs notice & if you don't like it they will just give the business to another carrier
Sometimes the customers are as shady as the brokers

You don't get the point. Sure, 4 hours is common and it happens a lot but it shouldn't.
If we continually accept that kind of treatment from shippers or receivers things will never get better in this industry.

Tell the kid working the drive up window that if a car doesn't come in for an hour he won't be paid for it, sounds stupid doesn't it, yet everyday drivers are giving up hours for no pay.

Yes they are but that sure doesn't make it right. All we as drivers have to sell is our time. If we're not getting paid for it why allow that situation to continue?
