I haven't looked into it, because I thought there were pretty strict requirements.
On the other hand, since I do all my own wrenching, I kind of like the idea of a second perspective once a year too.
I'll have to mull it over. Do you do your own?

They can pass all the Laws they want. If I disagree, I won’t follow it. Seat belt law is a good example. We went from “Please Buckle Up” to a Law requiring it, but only ticketed as a second offense after being pulled over for a first Offense. Soon everyone got used to that. Especially since they’d hand out a seat belt ticket in lieu of a speeding ticket. Then it became a primary offense. They can pull you over for not wearing it. As soon as the Law was changed. Please buckle up, became “Buckle up, It’s the Law” or my favorite “Click it or ticket”. I’m sure seatbelts save lives. I’d rather have the choice to take my chances. Charge a premium on my policy if needed. Fair enough to the others as far as premium costs across the board are concerned.
