I'm looking for an all in one if I can find one. Its for the truck and I don't want to mess with an office machine. For one thing the room it would take, and another the vibration and road shock CANNOT be good for an Office Depot special.

    Recommendations? Thanks

Google Possio GRETA GSM Portable Fax and Printer

No idea on prices, or if it is any good.

    It's a start

Anything with flatbed scanner isn't going to fare well in a truck. Unless you build it its own "air ride".

You could use a portable version of a printer/scanner like the Cannon BJC 80 Portable (google it), and then use a web fax portal like www.efax.com.

I would imagine that this would probably be the best combination for your purposes.

    Thats kinda what I'm thinking.

Thanks every body for the ideas.

I was just talking to my uncle about it, and I think to start with I'm going to try a cheap Office Depot model and build a air cushion out of bubble wrap or else egg shell foam.

I used to have a HP 1200 series "All-In-One" (scanner-printer-copier-fax) machine but had to replace it because "someone" dropped it and broke the glass on the scan-bed.
When I went to WalMart, the only "All-In-One" they had was the 3100 series.
Haven't had any problems with the new one, for that matter the 1200 series lasted 4 years, in truck and at home.
And, I DON'T have any "special" padding.

The 3100 cost less than $75.00 at WalMart. If it only lasts a year, I figure it is money well spent.
