I'm guessing he was using the clock on his phone, which will update to local time unless you set it not to.

Severity weights are capped at 30 per basic before time weights are added.

In cases of multiple counts of the same violation, the SMS uses each violation cite only once per inspection. This is regardless of how many times it’s on the inspection form.

Your probably right. Thus the reason to set the clock on your dash or radio.

The company gets the points .

Your PSP will be clear besides under the driver summary and vehicle summary for inspections ; And since you received no tickets, there won't be any violations listed . It will simply have the number of inspections done

The only way this could really hurt you is if your current company uses hireright/dac and puts something down like "Terminated for falsifying logs" and then your prospective companies use hireright /dac and see that listed

Drivers do not get severity weighs (what some call points) so time weights do not apply.

For carriers, violations recorded in the past six months receive a time weight of 3. Violations recorded over six months and up to 12 months ago receive a time weight of 2. All violations recorded earlier (older than 12 months but within the past 24 months) receive a time weight of 1.

A ticket being given is irrelevant. If it’s listed on the inspection it’s a violation. If a state shows a violation on an inspection as a warning, the FMCSA does not recognize warnings, but they do recognize the violation the warning was for.
