I dunno, maybe Love's has gotten better since I stopped driving, but from my experience gushing about it being the "largest Love's in the U.S." is about the same as making a big deal about the largest cesspool in the U.S.; I don't really want to see either one....

The real purpose of this thread....was merely to let other drivers know of yet another place that they can stop, rest, buy fuel, etc....if they are in that part of the world....and/or on their way to -- or from -- the Atlanta area.

The "largest Love's"...simply implies that there will (potentially) be more available parking...than in the typical Love's found elsewhere.

    No real "gushing" intended....

Could you elaborate on why you would consider them to be the best?

I tend to be a TA/Petro fan because most usually have more parking, many have a decent sit-down and order restaurant, and most have good shower facilities all in one. That being said there are some really bad TA/Petro truck stops out there and I should also mention that some are switching to an all or mostly paid parking lot model unfortunately.

Because they're almost always clean. The bathrooms are clean. The floors and shelves are clean..
    TA / Petro......seriously?
Just about every one I've been to lately looked like they were about ready to go out of business tomorrow.
And I hate it because when I first started driving, the Iron Skillet was my go to to get something decent to eat.

It's not necessarily that Love's is "the best" of anything....it's just that the others (generally speaking) suck worse (too much paid parking, etc).

I think Love's was just stroking some local egos telling them that the new place is the largest Loves in the country. 82 truck parking places isn't above normal for the new ones lately.
But as said any new parking is welcome and for the most part Loves keeps their stops pretty clean.
