I'd be leary of the after hours at Walgreens. Hate to say it, but there's lots of low life criminals in Clark County, Nevada.
If you ever move here; go straight to the house/apt/condo and unload the U-haul, etc.
Park at a hotel/motel and everything you own may be gone by morning including the truck and car if your also towing your car.Texas_hwy_287, Puppage and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -

Wilson and Jim Palmer are essentially the same company. You're in Vegas. Wilson will just send you to Jim Palmer.
Jim Palmer runs primarily western... west of I35. Can't think of a better company headquarters terminal than Missoula. Fly Fishing anybody? They'll hire you. Get you home to Vegas.
I do agree. Better off getting school financed then work out things with employers. You don't owe the employer anything.bumper496 and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
Jim Palmer Trucking has a western regional or 48 state option.

I worked for Palmer before the family sold it , it was a lot of drop and hook at Schwans Marshall Mn Salina Ks , doing multi drop depot drops , depots are easy to get into , no waiting in a line , good place to sleep.

Go over and see the marketing dept at Michelin there right in your back yard , I did a few tours for them and they also have a race tire side and need drivers , they pay well , summer work mostly.

I quit Veriha and they started the entertainment thing afterward.
My understanding is it's not regular work, but something more experienced and skilled drivers can do when the business picks up seasonaly depending on how their accounts work with it. Also, I think it requires a long run of several months with no hometime when you do it.
EDIT: For what it's worth, if the show plays one location for 3 days, you can stay in a paid hotel for 3 days and it will probably be a 4 star lodging.
The recruiter who called me didn't get into specifics about whether these are all concerts or theater productions. It would be cool to meet some musicians I guess.
Oh well, I thought about this but I said no. I don't really want to drive into the heart of a city to dock to a concert hall and in my current job I got away from the snow in the southeast.Last edited: Aug 3, 2019
