Las Vegas mass shooting, updated as of this hour

Most smart Americans wanted no part of that war. Most folks with foresight would have preferred to fight the commies to nip that movement in the bud and save Eastern Europe from what happened to it after the war.
Patton had the right idea. He wanted to rearm the German pows and get them to fight against the New York funded Bolsheviks but Eisenhower wouldn't have any part of that and the commies in Power had Patton wiped out. I guess the powers that be in New York City were too powerful for General Patton.

 

Blame it on a tumor, blame it on not enough hugs, blame it on no mommy, lost his puppy at a young age, whatever. At the end of the day the motive is easy...he's ####ing crazy. Just like all the other mass shooters.

It could come out he had AIDS, Cancer, Ebola, or whatever...I still won't have sympathy for him. An it won't bring back the 56 people killed or make the 500 + injured whole again. He killed himself in the end, an if that was his goal he coulda spared all those folks an their loved ones the stress an trauma of all this an just done it at home or out in the desert to himself.

I personally hope the son of a ##### burns in the fiery pits of hell for all eternity. An I'm not even religious! You can preach about taking guns away or this an that. It'll still happen tho. Bombs, knives, trucks, cars, we've seen all these things used also. Oh an even airplanes. We gonna ban all that to?

Chicago an DC had complete bans on guns for decades, an still led the nation in various years with murder rates an violence. Before I saw the post on here from Patty an I think Heavy I was reading an article bout a guy who stabbed two girls with a sword. Before being shot down by various French police an military. Don't get it twisted...I'm not some crazy armed pro gun nut job. I'm just a realist. Banning firearms will not stop people from committing such violent acts against each other. They'll just find another way to kill, incite terror, etc.

I know my post won't win me many fans cause I'm not calling for every gun owner to turn in their arms an be flogged. It's cool tho, I'm not trying to win a popularity contest. Just trying to point out there is no magic answer to stop violence, whether it's guns, knives, or whatever. Sadly it's part of human nature. We don't need to worry about Alien's invading, humans will be the end of man kind.

Thoughts an prayers out to Vegas, an the folks having to deal with all this. From the family burying their loved ones, to the folks who will be recovering for a very long time, to the first responder's an others who tried to help during the chaos last night in Vegas.

One last thing...this won't stop me from attending concerts or other things that involve the public. If it did then the ######## would win, whether said ####### is a terrorist, some nut with a gun, or an idiot with a sword, , doesn't matter.

Who Is Marilou Danley, Stephen Paddock’s Apparent Girlfriend?


Danley, 62, was described by police as Paddock’s “companion” and “roommate,” according to the New York Times. Authorities found Danley in the home she shared with the shooter in Mesquite, Nevada.


MariLou Danley is originally from the Philippines and used to live in Australia. Her sister, Liza Werner, said.

You will find that most people who are in favor off gunCONTROL (which does not mean banning all guns) have no problem with a citizen owning handguns,shotguns or single action rifles,after a GOOD vetting procedure and some sort off yearly licence.
It is the "warguns" that should not be in the hands off a private person.
They do too much damage in a very short timeframe.

Sadly we are now in a age where looneys and terrorists are lone wolfs or very small closed cells.......which needs a different approach.

I kind of wish gun ownership required participating in a Civil Defense or Militia type of group as the 2nd Amendment says that's a major reason for gun ownership as a right. They could hold sport shooting competitions or hold regular classes on safety. Then such people would regularly be around other gun owners who might spot signs of trouble.

 

Here's the only thing for real known that people were killed and injured ! How many gunmen what type of weapons all speculation! One man killed suspected shooter! Questionable?

 

No. We don't need a new crop of fringe groups any more than we already have. You get a bunch of gun enthusiasts together in one place, there's always going to be one goof ball, and others will have said goof ball in a psychiatric facility or on a watch list within a week, meanwhile the one you truly need to worry about continues to operate unimpeded.

Dangerous sociopaths have a knack and natural tendency to go unnoticed outside of perhaps being isolated but those who would appear isolated exist in large numbers, everywhere in society.

 

Im sorry don't buy the fact just one shooter served in military firing that many rounds in that short a period of time even with massive preparation! More like military operation! Then one lone psychopath!
