Folks needs to know the numbers it could be there family or friend among the dead or injured.

 

This is made to order for the anti gun nuts and those looking to question the intent of the 2nd amendment or do away with the second amendment.

But seriously, when you have a large open air event at the base of several high rise hotels, you have to expect this is a possibility.

Anyone know if those windows can be opened by guest or did he break them out?

 

Fully automatic weapons have been illegal and HIGHLY regulated since the 1930's. What are they going to do, pass another law that outlaws a weapon already illegal for nearly everybody to own? Or perhaps they'll pass another law declaring murder as illegal? If the reports I've heard are true that he had a criminal history, not only is there a ZERO percent chance that he had a license, permit, tax stamp, etc for the fully automatic weapon (meaning legally he should have never been able to touch that weapon), but depending upon what those charges were, he may not have been legally allowed to purchase ANY firearm. So what will MORE laws do? He obviously didn't obey the laws ALREADY on the books, so what makes anyone think he would've obeyed any NEW restrictions they might dream up? Laws only affect the law abiding, and quite frankly those aren't the folks I'm worried about. If you can't disarm the outlaw, the only sane response is to allow the law abiding access to the tools they might need, whenever and wherever they might go, in order to provide a defense against the lawless.

 

To the ignorant anti gun folks, there are MANY countries in this world where private gun ownership is illegal, I would suggest you move. Members of my family shed blood to preserve the American way of life, and that includes the second amendment.

To those that think this is the worst mass shooting in American history, you're simply uninformed.

 

I'll get it up as soon the next media loops it. Im fixing to shut off the tube, they are inciting insurrection the way they are talking trying to plant ideas into our current Congress.... just now waking up to this tragedy.

There are two places established for people within Vegas itself to go to and attempt to find the missing loved ones. Last loop stated that UMS and other hospitals are using a barrier system on grounds, not allowing anyone just to enter. Not without some sort of proof that they are blood family of the victims inside.

 

It's not that I'm that against guns that I would consider moving out of this country. It's just, it's 2017, and the bad guys are still getting access to these weapons, which serve no real purpose in our society, except, maybe, I have a more powerful weapon than you do, and I realize nothing would stop these people from doing this anyway. I only hope one of you gun advocates loved ones doesn't get killed by someone like this. I wonder if you'd change your tune.

 

Guess there were 0 gun enthusiasts or vets at that show. Cause if you heard the sound clip, even a deaf person would instantly realize that's automatic weapon fire.

Wonder what made him snap? Now we'll never know.

 

It is unusual for someone of that age to have such violent tendencies. And his social footprint trail may be small or non-existent.

But I can't believe there is not some sort of manifesto or "explanation" somewhere. Somebody knows something or is not altogether surprised, probably not immediate family but someone else he's somehow connected to.
