    I live in Texas.
    They don't want casinos.
They'd rather give 15 million dollars away
every weekend, to the bordering states, with their
Casinos sitting right across the state line.
    Making Oklahoma and Louisiana rich.

There doing the same thing with weed.
As if there gonna stop people from gambling
    Or smoking a joint.
They still got dry counties in this hillbilly state.
    Meanwhile,you can get meth anywhere.
    But that's ok.
It only destroys every thing in its path.

Never could for the life of me ever figure that out… Their reasoning obviously is delusional… The only thing I can think of is how much money are they getting from these other states as far as $$$ to keep casinos out and send people to neighboring states..

They get nothing from those states.
It's all about moral high ground.
Thinking your better than they are.

I've been to the casinos in both Shreveport
    And Oklahoma.
They'll tell you. Their residents play the quarter machines.
There high limit slots and high rollers all come
    From the dallas/ ft.worth area.
    That's there backbone.

It's bumper to bumper every weekend leaving
Dallas on 20 west to Shreveport, and 35 north to Oklahoma.
Same thing coming back on Sunday evening.
I know, I'm always stuck in it.

    It's the old 1950 mindset, do as I say,not as I do.
Holding on to the past as long as they can.
It's the same way in the little town I live in.
Bunch of 70 year old people running everything.
They refuse to let modern technology and the
20th centery set up shop anywhere in town.

They do everything in their power to keep
The town 25 years behind the times.
Nothing the people can do but wait for
These old timers to die off.

There in every high ranking position, and there
    All friends of one another.
You want to sell rusty old antiques, go for it.
You want to buy 50 acres of uninhabited woods,
Build a factory and hire 300 people with good paying
Jobs, no freaking way. We don't want progress.

I can't get out of this state fast enough.
Came here 15 years ago for the wide open
    Highways,cheap living and peace
    And quite.
All that stuff is gone now.

We've been overrun by millions of people.
Every interstate is a now a total cluster####
All the time. I hate it.

All that's left for me is someplace on
The west coast in the desert somewhere.
I'm not doing the cold weather.
    Pahrump Nevada here I come.

I don't know much about gambling, or casinos. But how is Vegas any different than what we already have in Eagle Pass?

Church's load up the busses each weekend to haul the senior's across state lines. Guess their trip won't take as long, if this happens.

I'm told that Eagle Pass only has slots, poker, and bingo.

    Edit: Basically, a glorified "gameroom."
