As the title suggests I have fallen victim to the falling price of oil. Any one have any opinions of companies in either Edmonton or Fort McMurray? I have roughly 7 months experience running local flat deck. open to anything really.
Layed off, looking for decent companies.

That's rough man. I'm half expecting to get the axe at some point in the near future as well. Fort Mac has really slowed down in the last year.

Trimac, my company, has terminals in both Edmonton and Calgary. Tank and dry bulk. I'm on the American side so I can't tell you too much about the Canadian side of things but I'm happy.

i was looking at trimac, might have to pop into their office on monday, id assume the can side would be run similar to the usa side

I'm at the Calgary terminal now and I come here quite often. All the guys seem happy, they have a lot of local positions up here and better equipment than we do down south. Trimac is a Canadian company.
