Leads for private truck rental

My cousin was recently able to rent a truck w/ sleeper equipped from a private owner. I didn’t know that was a thing, but I can imagine with the astronomical prices SFI, Ryder and Penske are trying to charge as well as the truck shortage.
I spoke to SFI today, and they were talking about their lease is per week and due to the truck shortage wait times are about 4 months out. That wasn’t the bad part, the bad part was they quoted me $1020-$1100 per week! No way!

At this time I’m searching for private owners or even O/O who either have an extra truck, or are looking to retire but still bring in some monthly income on their truck.

I run bulk tanker so the truck would have to have a compressor and pump.

 

That’s easier said than done, most trucks are going for anywhere from 50k and up with this shortage.
