hey guys i have had this little leak for about a year..it leaks between the cover and the top of the head i guess that make sense but i think i would like to have it fixed..i have to have the valves ran soon so i thought it would be a good time to do the gasket..what should i be looking to pay for something like this???????no jakes or anything just a 1997 m11 +..thanks mike

You have to remove rocker assy all six inj not really a bad job make sure to use a little silicone on the gasket and also make sure the rocker box is true this is a common leak when you put it back together make sure you adjust the clearence on the rocker shaft stands I can get you the info if need be.you will need rocker box gasket valve cover gasket and inj o rings make sure you check the injector harness where it plugs in on the outside of the rocker box.also check for coolant in the inj bores l10,m11,ism are common to have leaking coppers

Your tearing everything down to the head. Probably looking at a good 8 hours or so.

wow didnt think it would be that much time or work to do.lol what would you guys do at this point??? its not stopping me from working but i do have to add a little more old between changes about 1/2 gal. 15thsmiles..its a lod truck but good 1 so for...i may just be better off waiting on the end of the season since i can then just put it in the shop and want really miss work..also if you dont mind truckmechainc please give me the list and what not i really app. it.....thanks guys mike
