I would say they owe you a new clutch along with the seal, who did the work?

This first one is the plate on the driver side of the clutch housing. With small ball bearing on it.

These are of the clutch housing. It's wet in there.

    Just wow. This sucks man.

    Hatchet job.

I'd keep and take plenty of pics and take @Ridgeline 's advice and just take it to a proper shop.

Then take dude to small claims. Get the BBB involved as well.

    It's painfully obvious what happened.

Hope you don't stress too hard.

It happened to Me when I had a trans installed. Started leaking due to housing bolts left loose. Had it removed and installed properly, went back with documentation, along with added down time lost revenue charges. The Guy got the message it would cost more if gone to court. He reimbursed Me, Sounds like you gave him his chance. He should have investigated and even if it was something else. Fixed it and billed you. Sounds like He’s dodging it now. Good Luck. Small claims court if needed.

It looks like. Or the way I'm thinking of it is; I went down a gallon of oil in 300 miles/ 21 hours. There is only one way oil can get into the housing, the rear seal. Yeah it inside the housing. The clutch looks dry. I'm guessing drips to the bottom gets blown around by the spinning clutch assembly. Which is why the fork is wet on all sides and the walls are wet.
