They have replaced that seal. Used chisel and hammer, because they did not have the seal driver. And you have this issue. No way to install that seal without proper seal driver ...
Leaking oil after clutch replacement. Where is it coming from?

Now I'm 500 Miles away from Houston. Im bobtail. They say the transmission shop can get stacked up. Grrrr which means I can sit here for a week in Arkansas. Trailer is in STL at the tank wash.
I have to find it in the morning and then I will know how long it will be . I want Togo to H town and then NOLA in my car to take care of personal business. Rather than stay here until Monday.Last edited: Apr 29, 2019

I had my shop screw up the rear main when swapping a motor and tranny in. I made them pull the transmission and fix it on their dime.Rideandrepair, mhyn, Dino soar and 1 other person Thank this. -

Ok... take it to a different shop. If it was transmission fluid, you wouldn't have to add gallons of motor oil.
Rideandrepair, SL3406, PE_T and 4 others Thank this. -
Try truck pro or inland truck parts real good on parts and service times ....but I would be all over original shop
Rideandrepair and 77fib77 Thank this. -
It's BS. The one thing cant be their fault it magically is. I added engine oil a nearly full gallon jug.
Rideandrepair Thanks this.
