Get an override switch installed, 220 is a little high IMO. I like to flip mine on once it goes past 200.

Can you elaborate on installing the manual override switch. Does it matter which wire you attach the switch too... can you spell it out for someone stupid (me). Lol.

It does not. The fan will turn on when the connection is "broken". So you attached an inline (series) switch to one wire and keep it closed for the fan switch to function as it should. If you flip the switch and open the circuit, the fan will come on and stay on until you turn the switch off.

    Felix773 and thaistick Thank this.

So it kinda runs backwards then... like if I had the switch in 'off' position, the fan would stay on continously, and in the 'on' position the fan would operate normally???? Is

Put the switch in upside down to eliminate confusion

Yes. When the switch "off", it's open so the fan turns on. When it's "on", the circuit is closed so the fan is off. Disconnecting the connector will turn the fan on as well, just in case you're ever overheating and need the fan to be on 100% to limp to a shop or something.

    Rideandrepair and thaistick Thank this.
