Hi Guys,
Just requesting some updated information on what working for Conway is like? Experience? Getting ready to get my Class A and this is where I am leaning.
Thanx in advance.

Local or OTR ??

you could just start with local, which is the freight division (aka: "LTL").. thats what i, and a few others on here did, sometimes they'll hire right out of school... They typically don't hire much during winter, because its really slow, but if you have the time, March - July is sort of there unofficial hiring season.. If you choose this route, watch the careers section on the website real closely.. because if you get hired in the earlier months, you'll have seniority over the other people they hire.
I wish i would've known this when i was looking.. my terminal is fairly small and we had 5 or 6 new guys from March - June.. I was the very last one, and still am until probably after winter. But if you're the first new hire of the year, you'll probably be the top flex board guy [look at other con-way posts for flex-board explanation], which to be honest, probably gets the best hours out of everybody. -
what about otr with conway? I wanted to experience and travel a while and then eventually go LTL what do you think?
