Go automatic, all you have to remember is either
1. Twist and stomp,
2. Put in D and stomp.

All companies expect a truck driver to be able to drive their equipment. Why limit yourself? Go and learn all you can on a manual and to shift double clutching and then floating. You learn all you can before you shift over to autos.MACK E-6 and BlueThunderr Thank this.

For the record these "autos" are manuals with auto shifters. The basic internal parts are the same!
I plan to drive manual for as long as possible. It's fun.
