A six is no different than a car, aside from double clutching. And you may not even need to depending on the truck...

Broke Down 69, Shock Therapy and tscottme Thank this. -
Whats the right thing to do? Tell the truck owner I need a few days with him and then another few on my own
Don't really want to be practising myself....don't want to hurt anyone -
Nah, a few hours at most with another driver. Beyond that its just practice
Goodguy88 Thanks this. -
Not sure if that makes any sense if I don't know anything -
Well, that makes it easier on you, but it will take longer to master. If you can drive a truck to begin with, tell him you want to focus on up and down shifting. And gear recovery.

I'm scared
*poopslagbrosdetmi and BB203 Thank this. -
How do I not be scared. I need to learn this at one point or another or I'll never be driving a truck
