Is there anyone successful at lease purchase with knight? For those naysayers there is no need for bad replies. I know it's not a great deal but it's about my only choice at a chance at independence. So with that being said if there is anyone actually making it work please comment below. With as many specifics you care to share.

Take a look at ACT out of KC.. They have a pretty good lease purchase program if you are in their hiring area.
Good luck driver -
I'm sorry I should of been more specific as to my whereabouts. I live in New Orleans, La. I work for Knight out of the gulfport terminal as a company driver. I think I'm one of the few that actually enjoy working for knight. Make pretty good money and run my butt off. But the idea of eventually owning something is calling me. I don't really have any bills to speak of. My wife is a school teacher so I'm on her insurance. So I've been thinking while I'm young (28) and have no kids it might be worth a shot.

Don't know why it posted a smiley face. It's supposed to be a 28
baha Thanks this. -
Can I give you a piece of advice. Do your homework before you lease, wether it's with Knight or anyone else. Ask for a copy of the lease in advance before you sign, and read and reread, and reread it again before you commit. I'm leased with another company, and happy. My wife is also happy because of the ability to come and go as I please. But be forewarned, there's alot to be learned in a hurry in you're going to make it as a business owner. Make sure you know in advance what Knight pays, and what you'll be expected to pay. It matters. Get a projected cost breakdown from them for leasing a truck. Don't cut it tight on the money....if it's tight, don't do it! There's slways going to be unexpected costs that pop up, and you have to be prepared financially for that. Good luck!
