I wouldnt be a l/p driver the companies make it look good but its not im a owner operator and a third generation trucker most place give u around 90 cpm plus fuel char ge so total around 1.35 a mile For me it takes 1.03 a mile to run the truck so yo make .32 cpm and figure evry paycheck you losse around 20percent for taxes and if u dont move u dnt make money just some advice stay company save up 20000 thousand and buy a truck and keep 12000 to 10000 saved up incase something happens you can make it

Should probably stay away from doing any business if you don't understand taxes.ChillWill Thanks this. -
I know taxes and what it takes to run a sucessful business but 99 percent of lease purchase programs are not good and moat people loose every thing becuse of them I was just trying to inform the driver before he made that choice
ChillWill Thanks this. -
There has to be at least one good program.

There are good programs out there. Somewhere.
The reason companies don't give you the information is that if you had it you would stay away from them.
