lease to own questions

Drivers lease because they want the pride of being an O/O . But they really aren't O/O's because they never own the truck . They lease a truck that's 2 years old when they get it on a 2 year lease . Then the carrier tells them they don't contract trucks over 4 years old so they have to lease another one . There is never option to sell the truck if things go bad . The carrier says you violated the lease terms and takes the truck back . Lease drivers are really at the mercy of the carrier .

 

remember a few years ago when two big things were going on???

1) cashing in your house for a second mortgage to buy a harley you couldn't afford.

2) buying an over priced house you couldn't afford and paying interest only knowing the payments would bump.

ya'see... 90% of people are basically really extremely very STUPID!!!!!!!!

and... I'm not even all that against leasing, for a small segment of rational semi-intelligent people, leasing is just fine and not a bad option at all.

but just because its good for a few doesn't mean its good for you or that you should jump on the band wagon.
