Lease Truck and Dry Van

medicineman i was looking at landstar i have a truck paid for i just havnt put it on the road yet i was thinking of buyin a trailer try to make it at landstar but i dont want to go real far from houston less i have to just short day or 2 day runs do you think its possibly to make it doing that

 

there is allot of freight within TX. I run it the majrity of the time. There can be allot of deadhead between loads though so you have to make sure what you take pays very good. I try not to touch anything for less then $2mi that stays in TX. Also it seems everything out of houston is cheap

 

k thanks for the info the company i work for now are talking bout selling there trucks so hopefully i can get on with landstar i just cant go work for them big companys been there done that and dont want to have to do it again less i just really have to

 

AT nearly 9k contractors Landstar isn't exactly a small company. They just don't bug ya.

Landstar will make you lazy. You best have the drive to keep your butt running because they will not ever tell you that you need to get to work. Alot of eople don't have the self control and end up getting so picy they loose there trucks

 

yea i no no i was talking bout the driving as a company driver at the big ones i think i have the self control to do it will see lol if i go there
