Is it possible to lease trucks from 2 different carriers? For example; 1 truck here and another there?

To run under your authority? Or are you talking about a lease/purchase and running under the leasing company's authority?

Are you talking about leasing equipment to carriers? Or are you talking about getting rich by putting drivers in lease purchase trucks?

Of course you can, but the part about finding drivers ... well it is easy to find a driver, it is difficult to find a good driver.

Good drivers demand good pay, and no micromanaging,

    feldsforever and snowwy Thank this.

I'm talking about putting drivers in lease trucks. Where the "getting rich" part come from? Stick to answering the actual question please.

Well, I wish you good luck. Most lease/purchases fail, even when the driver is the one doing the lease. To succeed when paying drivers and all the associated things will be difficult, at best.

Look at the cost of the weekly payments. There’s a reason why l/p charged by the week and traditional financing is monthly payments. If you do some research here and read the threads in the l/p forum you’ll see that many fail. Many don’t make driver’s wages when it’s all said and done, so how do you expect to have any profit left over if you can’t even pay a driver a decent wage? You’re basically wanting to rent trucks, and pay all the expenses on them, and your name isn’t even on the title. If you want to be a truck owner than go the traditional route and hire drivers for your trucks. Any experienced driver would run far away from someone looking for a driver for a lease purchase truck.
