Leasing only, and owning a trailer...

    Well, according to the post by the 'crazy trucker' I read, you can own a trailer and not a truck and make a bit more money. He says it comes at a lower cost than owning a truck. I can see that.

    I just wanted to find out, for future reference, if this was doable.

    I think you're misunderstanding crazy truckers post. He is leasing his truck from his carrier and he purchased his trailer outright.

    That must be what he is doing. I don't hear of anyone else just buying a trailer and sticking it on a company truck. Thanks.
