I have a step but they have a lot of flatbed and some rgn freight. Really its just a preference thing. I don't know if one is better than the other. Hope that answered your question.

I have a good friend that has been with them for a number of years, he seems quite content. Worked into a good setup since he likes long haul, WV to TX and back all the time.

TommyK I had to call operations today on some other things and while I was at it I asked about steps or flats there and they said steps work better there. Thought I would let you know.

What about ELDs and TWIC? Must have or no matter?

Nope. 1999 and under don't have to have eld's. TWIC is up to you. I have a 1999 no eld and no TWIC.

Anyone know what their equipment requirements are? I'll be operating a 1999 or older truck.

You are good to go. Mine is a 99. You will have to get the truck inspected twice a year for a truck that old, but that's all.

Great. That's not a problem at all. I can't find ANY details about driver nor equipment requirements on their site. I like how I can run my own base plate too. Mercer was originally my first choice but after a few recent experiences I'm glad things went the way they did.

Do you happen to know what their driver requirements are and how much the MN base plates are? I'm not sure if it would be cheaper for me to run Florida (where I'm domiciled) or Minnesota. Also, do they rent and/or lease drop decks there? I won't have trailer yet.
