Studying hazmat to do well at orientation ? I did orientation at Gary, not Ellenwood. I don't think you'll find much at orientation dealing with haz..
You'll get two weeks worth of info in 2.5 days. Don't get overwhelmed, much of it will make sense once you get with a trainer. At O you'll learn a lot about the Roehl way.. Safety, progressive shifting, LAP, PAL, GOAL and safe seven are the focus. O was great, training was fine, learning really takes place when you go solo. Hope all your trainers are good. I had one I absolutely adore (and talk to weekly), one was a hard-burr, but I learned from him. The other had very little to offer, due to the fact he leads a messy life, and lacks good judgement (except btw). have a great time, keep your nose clean, and absorb from the trainers....

  5. Thanks Milestogo,
I plan to learn as much as possible.

  6. Well, I am here. I just checked into my hotel room less than an hour ago. The hotel has free broadband. I will try to post what happens each day until I get on the road and then who knows.

Thanks to all who have replied.

You must be one of the guys starting tommorow! Just finished orientation today and leave out tommorrow with my trainer.
A little driving and haz mat, and ALOT of other stuff. The instructors are first rate and you will enjoy the last sane moments you have before hitting the road! Good luck and hope to see you out there!

Sorry Whispers, didn't get your hubby as a trainer!
