I know you are so excited. I knew it would work out for you. That's just great!
Now I bet the fight finally seems worth it. Definately keep us posted. Even after you go to school if you can. Can't wait to see how it works out for you.

Whispers I'm glad to hear ya made it and I may even see you there! Like I said, I'm starting June 18th, so you won't be far behind me. If you can pass the practice tests on-line, you should do Ok. I had a couple to throw me on my test. Just pay attention to the questions and what they are asking for. Think about the question before you answer, even if your sure of the answer. It may say which of these are correct statements EXCEPT. Look for the "disqualifiers"..always...never...ect. Read all of the answers and if you don't know it, just make the best guess you can. Best of luck to you!

I just got off the phone with my Fleet Manager. My trainer is scheduled to leave out of Ellenwood tomorrow morning at 8am. He told me to call my driver trainer tonight to get the details.
Here we go. I am really excited. This is the last night in the hotel. Wonder where I am going?
COOL -
Glad to hear everything is going well! So, you like it so far, yes? Try and keep us up to date if you can. Good luck to you.

Well, It has been a few days since I posted to this thread. Since then, we have been up to Akron Ohio, to deliver. Stayed the night in the Mogador drop yard. Then went over and dropped it off yesterday. We drove west about 140 miles and picked up our next load. We are back in Ellenwood for our break.
Road Dog, is Mogador where you did your 7 & 7 out of?
Thanks care -
Cool thread i can't wait to hear how its going. I start orientation with Roehl on July 16th.
Good luck drivers -
Just got home from my Evo I. All went well. I lucked out and had the same trainer for the whole 10 days. He was an owner/operator and was an excellent instructor. He said they are aggressively trying to weed out the trainers that are just doing it for the extra money. It is an ongoing process.
Anyway, there were only supposed to be 6 people in our orientation class, 3 experienced and 3 newbies. One newbie didn't show and one of the experienced guys was politely asked to leave after the road test. The rest of us finished in record time and I was out in the truck with my trainer by 1pm Wednesday.
We did the Lake Michigan tour and I got to drive across the Mackinaw bridge. We then went south to Atlanta and then to Richmond. I got to see 4 of the terminals/drop yards.
I find out Monday when I go out for my second Evo. -
Redwolf, what did the experienced guy do so wrong that he was "politely asked to leave"? And how much experience did he have, please?
