Hey Perdy, glad you are having a great experience. I'm excited about starting school. Let us know what your truck number is when you get assigned one. I hope I don't have to wait long after school to get a female trainer.

Wait a minute you would not be delivering there, unless u were delivering wood, and roehl doesn't deliver wood, are you going to be stuck at the paper mill sometime before u leave? Sorry for your luck, north east sucks :biggrin_2554:man!!

  4. Thanks Whispers,
I will let you know my truck number when I get it. I had a woman in my orientation and we both left the same day. Orientation was over Friday and we left with out trainers on Saturday. There was another young lady that was completing evo I that I met in Ellenwood that ended up out with a flatbed female trainer because she was the only one available. She was going to be driving vans, but ended up getting training on the flatbed. I think you will be ok.

I picked up in Rumford at the mill yesterday and went through Gorham late yesterday afternoon. I am in St Albans, VT right now and out of hours. Been running really hard since I complained about not enough miles. It has been GREAT since then; so much so that I am sitting here until midnight so I can run again! My check last week was double what I had been averaging, so mama is happy! ;)

Things are looking much better at Roehl since some of my concerns were addressed.

I'm glad you got that worked out. One thing about Roehl is if a driver has a complaint they do their best to fix it.

  8. Well,
I am finished with Evo II. Passed my written and road test this morning here in Gary. I called my DSR and my truck is sitting up in Marshfield waiting on me. I am waiting here in Gary for a few other guys and they are getting us a rental car to go up to get our trucks. I really made more out of that test then I needed to. All three of my trainers were really helpful and I learned allot from each one. They each were a little different and I got something from each of them. The last guy I had while I was in Evo II let/made me do everything and then would let me know when I missed something. I was doing the planning, most of the driving, qualcom, it was good. Now comes Evo III.

    Whispers,
Are you ready to go to school? What is your husbands DSR’s name? I am wondering if it was the same one I had while in EVO I and II. Is he still running solo or back to training?

    Take Care,

Sounds like my Evo II trainer. His name was Barron.

  11. That must be the way they tell them to do it in trainer school. My EVO II trainer was Ben.
