    You know, I've never asked how much you get while in training. I'll find out. As far as time, that's set up with the training dept, but usually isn't more than 14 days.

    Southern California is in a restricted hiring zone due to lack of freight, so they require minimum 3-4 weeks. It's not impossible to get you there, we just don't have consistent freight there.

    For miles, I'd say a good average would be 2250. I don't often get lower unless it's in slow freight periods.

    Ok got it. Every day you're on the trainer truck, it's 70. 40 is per diem, 30 is taxed.

    I was there for less than a 34 , got a sweet no tarp to salt lake , 2400 for the week and a 34 before unloading on monday , can't complain about that and I took all us highways , well less than 200 miles of interstate for this trip so I enjoyed it a bunch. Thank goodness no bad snow in colorado or utah. sitting in a snow filled parking lot right now but I don't care , this truck loves it. also , I actually have a 48 trailer , I like the 53's but I worry a lot less with these shorties.

    Hey Noggin, I forgot to ask anyone when I was still working there, but is there anyway the would put a set of duals on and take the super singles off if a driver wanted/preferred duals? Might be looking at coming back once finish healing up, but never was a fan of super singles and the current company I am with I have duals and have loved them this winter!

    I drove duals up to Flagstaff in arizona all winter long for 3 years and over about 10 miles on the 40 hit plenty of snow since my old company had a " don't call me if its snowing policy and deliver your load" and I can't tell a difference with these singles. I havent had to chain them but my cables are lighter than my old chains anyways. I am not saying there isnt a difference but not enough to bother me and I love the way they float around single ruts and stuff , I have to say they are'nt the same on smooth fast turns on the open road but I don't mind peeling off a bit when its necessary.

    SO , last night in freezeyourbuttoff wyoming , 18 degrees and heater goes out .... sure wish we could idle. it was a long cold night, I am in Lincoln NE tonight at shoemakers .... TIME TO EAT WOOOHOOOOOO
