Took them to chillicothe Mo., picked up some aluminum from Kansas and went to L.A but it was repowered in phoenix and I am on hometime for a few much needed days. I have to say My d.m. Paul has been amazing , he must be phsychic also because he is constantly one step ahead of me and it has been making a huge difference. I had about 2k miles on Thursday night when I swapped Trailers with a guy going home to L.A. Paul has been honest with me on things I didn't want to hear and helped me make miles when I needed them which has been hard to do until a few weeks ago when things started getting decent again. I am really looking forward to this summer and being done with 30 degree unloads at 7 am lol

When I was lookin for a Flatbed company I found good info on a few companies and none on others , Noggin reffered me to his and I found no good up to date drivers telling it like it is. Thats why I update this and try to just be straight up , companies are real worried about their equipment and what kind of people they hire but not very worried about how much of your time they waste misrepresenting themselves and the actual working conditions - apparently they don't have to be accountable. Anybody that can read can see how my experience has been going ,which is pretty good- not perfect but better than ok. Truth be told its all anyone can hope for working for from a trucking company anymore.
People ask questions like how many miles will I get and the truth is it depends, depends on your dispatcher and the freight along the routes you get sent on , you can get lucky and have easy loads with lots of miles or unlucky and get hard loads ,hard tarps and short short miles that make you want to say screw this, this aint trucking, this is a daycab service across town.
I have listened to one driver say he can barely get 1500 miles a week and then hear another one say he needs a break and is going on a cruise after his 4 - 3000+ mile weeks in a row. We have one huge variable in our job and that is freight, when its good your busy and tired , when its bad your bored and grumpy .One thing that sucks is those short loads that are a pain , they have high load rates to the company- problem is driver doesnt make a dime extra. I can't say I have too many of those but every fricken time I go to Dallas I seem to get at least 1 of them , guess where I am going right now...
I think winter is over so I am looking forward to some nice weather , I have had my share of 20-30 degree load and unloads and that almost always includes a tarp lol.Civilservant, jomar68, Bigdubber and 1 other person Thank this. -
First time to us steel in a long time. .. nice 40k coil.

unloaded my copper after some really slow dallas/ft.worth traffic 3hrs-70 miles, then sat most of the day , tommorrow I load in gainesville and headed to El Paso for friday morning unload. I really like coils the bigger the better, such an easy load to get right and you can secure it as fast as you can move your butt. Hoping to get something decent for the weekend out of El Paso yard.

You'll get a load of moulding going somewhere. lol last time I was there I got a load going to KC and got stuck in that blizzard they had

I was east off denver for that it wasnt bad just all the people sliding off the road who didn't want to slow down/take it easy. Its not like there are trees or curves or hills in Kansas/eastern Colorado
