Now me. .. my legal eta was noon today, appt was 745, impossible even at 65mph, so they reschedule it for tomorrow. Noon. I hate places with friggin appointments.
had 1610 , made tulsa with 10 minutes to spare , 682 miles. They reprommed my truck to idle for 30 minutes and now it has the under 25 over 80 perma-idle , last night my heater messed up and it was a colddddd 31 . Its my fault for freezing I should have got it fixed a long time ago .
so you should still make it before 11 friday. I'm sitting in commerce city waiting to unload. I saw a buttload of slinkies heading east from evraz, so I'm assuming thats where i'll be sent after i get empty tomorrow. I kinda dont mind the extra day, seeing as my load that i would have picked up today still probably wouldnt have delivered until monday somewhere....
I got shafted , arrived 12:30, empty 1:30, nothing til 3:30 , monday pickup out of us steel in shicago. sitting sucks
so 1991 miles for last week , one load for the week and sat over the weekend pretty much, done 1 load so far this week for about 930 and starting another one today for 700 that empties on thursday am. Kinda dissapointed about last weekend could have had a great week but it wasnt a high priority for everybody but me so we'll see how this week goes.
I just talked to my old DM, on extended coverage, said I'm planned tomorrow for a 6 stopper (ship, p/u, 2 drop, final) going to new hampshire for friday. hopefully I get a decent weekend run outta there....
@Azcannon. Is that low of mileage something that is pretty common or is it more of a fluke? I know that trucking has its ups and downs, but I thought that things were going pretty good this time of year.
