Leaving for Orientation 10-13-12 in Tulsa,Ok

Got a load from long beach CA to North Chicago. 2200 miles total. Only bad thing is I wont get there til Tuesday and I have no miles this week bc of home time. So no paycheck next week. But the following week will be a good one.

 

heres a secret.
The pay period that ends Monday night at 23:59 actually ends Tuesday morning at 10:00.

Also, I've been unloaded around noon Tuesday and asked my DM if she can still get me paid for it the same week. The answer is yes.

good for laredo. one inspection is required per day, so I will continue to only do post, or i will do pre and no post. LCTC are not required by DOT unless you are hauling hazmat, so I will continue to do the first one on duty.

 

all texas tolls will get taken out of your check unless you have the tags, since they mail the toll violation to melton when they get you on camera not using the tag. the only ones that wont are the ones on the Sam Houston Toll around Houston if you pay cash, then you just send in your receipt

 

if you're able to get it there monday.

 

Only Houston is a TOLL VIOLATION without a toll tag. Austin and Dallas are pay by mail, its not a violation. I don't work for melton, All I was saying is that the tolls in Dallas and Austin can not be paid for by cash.

 

i didnt say they could be paid for by cash. I said there is a CAMERA that CAPTURES YOUR VEHICLE if you dont have a tag, and an INVOICE gets sent to your COMPANY and they pay the toll BY MAIL. How do you think pay by mail works? You think everyone actually COUNTS each time they go through a toll and VOLUNTARILY send in a payment? So I shouldnt have said VIOLATION. MY BAD.
