No copper mine. Instead I am to the Black Mesa Coal mine to pick up machinery for recycle in Colorado. Short run, but more mountains.
Apparently, Rancho Cucamunga to Mesa is too far to deadhead for hometime... But I know this one guy that knows this one guy that's done it a couple times in a blue truck.
Got a old to Laredo from Ohio. Here's the kicker. 1800 miles and they give me less than 2 days AND I only have rollover hours to work with. I swear planners have no since what's so ever. Needless to.say i dont think i will make there time line. But 3 back to back 1500+ mile trips. 4500 in 10 days.
Did a load last week to Colorado. Careful roads are getting icy. Spent 9 hours driving and only got 380 miles in that day. And it was spooky
The dead headed me 550 miles to home. Right after I got my overlength ticket heading to a shipper while following routing. They had to have a day cab come.down to tow the trailer out of the restrictionted zone. After that they said forget about the load and head home
Cannon said he's gone home from The LA area and from Colorado. not me! But, I did just deadhead 275 miles to Apex, NV. Another 25 miles and that's what it was from rancho cucamunga to PHX... Makes sense. They don't want me home, they want me to run this 300 mile tarped load to Bakersfield and make a killing off my labor... All while I miss my anniversary tomorrow.
On the brighter side, I did get some fantastic news this afternoon!!!!! my DM is no longer a DM! She moved over to a new driver training program or some such thing. Maybe my next one will be OK!
This load is heavy... Gotta be close to 49k. First time being over gross, ever. Only 60 pounds over, but it's still over! No way I'm going back and untarping this. I should lose 100 pounds of fuel by the time I hit the coop in the morning. You guys would run with it, right?
as long as I know I had enough miles to burn the fuel. And would probably reway before I took on fuel
