Simple math. 1 gallon weighs approx 8 pounds. you get 6-7 miles per gallon, and you need to lose 60 pounds. 60 pounds = approx 8 gallons. After you run 60 miles you should be under gross. If not, just throw a couple chains out the window.

@azcannon - so are you still happy to be with Melton? Do you think you made the proper decision in this company? Im just wondering because I've been wanting to go into flatbedding for a few years but just can't seem to pull the trigger. I'm in between maverick or melton. I live closer to maverick but to be honest I hate a freightliner lol.
